My name is Glory Ekpima and I am the Creative Director behind GHEE STITCHES.

Ghee Stitches is a crochet brand that hand-makes garments and accessories that accentuates your personal style and leaves you feeling confident, comfortable and extraordinary.

I started crocheting in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic, I learnt the skill as an escape from the noise of the pandemic.
At a very slow pace and with the assistance of some YouTubers, I learnt the basic stitches and the moment I made my first bikini set, I knew this was exactly what I needed to do.

In 2021, I transitioned from using it as an escape from the world to turning it into a business after my high school classmate and friend paid me to make a bikini set for her, and at that moment, I fell in love with the thoughts of having gorgeous women wear my handcrafted pieces and so the brand Ghee Stitches was birthed.

Crochet wears is slowly but surely becoming a rising trend in the fashion industry and my goal is to make you fall in love with them a little more than you already do and ultimately make you want to own a Ghee Stitches piece irrespective of your age, size and shape!

The name Ghee Stitches was coined out of my name with the ‘Ghee’ pronounced as the alphabet ‘G’ from Glory. Growing up, my Dad used to call me G-baby and I wanted the whole world to call me that as well as a way of keeping my memory of him alive. Now, every time someone calls me ‘G’hee, I know he proudly looks down from heaven and nods at his babygirl.
